DAY 01 - THESSALONIKI

Arrival at Thessaloniki Airport. Meet and assistance with delivery of rental car. Drive to the hotel and
remainder of the day at leisure. (Flights from Athens to Thessaloniki can be arranged on request)

DAY 02 - THESSALONIKI

In the morning visit the City, Archeological and Byzantine Museums, Byzantine Churches of Rotonda
St. Dimitrios, St. Sophia etc, the Roman Market and theatre, the walls and the White Tower Museum.
Overnight in Thessaloniki

DAY 03 - EDESSA

Depart on the drive to visit Pella, (41km), founded in the 4th century BC and became the capital of the Macedonian State. Continue to Edessa (56km), one of the most beautiful towns in Macedonia.

DAY 04 - KASTORIA

Drive to Kastoria via Amindeo (114km) or via Florina and the famous lakes of Prespa (140km).

DAY 05 - GREVENA (Kalambaka)

In the morning visit the Byzantine churches in Kastoria. In the late afternoon departure via Siatista
to Grevena (93km) or to Kalambaka (152km).

DAY 06 - LEPTOKARIA (Litochoro)

Visit the monasteries at Meteora and then drive via Larissa to Leptokaria or Litochoro (178kms, highway)

DAY 07 - DION / VERGINA

Depart to Dion (13km), a sacred location of the ancient Macedonians at the foot of Mt. Olympos. On to Vergina (90km) where diggings have unearthed 3 very important tombs. Then on to Thessaloniki (68km).

DAY 08 - DEPARTURE

Return the rental car at your hotel if you wish to stay on or drive to Thessaloniki Airport and drop
of the rental car before your departure flight. (Flights tickets Thessaloniki to Athens can be included)
