Itinerary

Day 1 : Welcome to Serbia
Welcome to Belgrade, meet and transfer to the hotel with free time until share a welcome cocktail while meeting your fellow travelers.

Day 2 : Belgrade, a fascinating city
Belgrade's history dates back more than 7000 years, your morning tour cover the city’s main attractions: the imposing Kalemegdan Fortress, dramatically situated at the joining of the Sava and Danube Rivers; Republic Square and Mihajlova Street; Saint Sava Temple, the largest Orthodox Church in the city; and Tito’s Memorial. Afternoon is free. Evening enjoy a dinner with live music in the old Bohemian quarter of Skadarlija.

Day 3 : Through beautiful Montenegro
A short flight from Belgrade takes you to the capical of Montenegro, Podgorica. From here continue to Cetinje, the country’s historical capital, and visit the Cetinje Museum with its displays dedicated to Montenegro’s history. Then down a spectacularly steep road to the Bay of Kotor, the deepest fjord in Southern Europe. From there on to Dubrovik.

Day 4 : Sightseeing in Old Dubrovnik
Discover Old Dubrovnik on foot during a morning walking tour. Visit the Rector’s Palace, and see the Bell Tower Clock, Orlando’s Column and Sponza Palace. Next, see the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. Remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the picturesque setting, explore on your own or site back and relax.

Day 5 : Along the Adriatic Coast to Split
Travel north along the Adriatic coast, past old fishing villages and new resorts, to Split. A city tour features the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral.

Day 6 : Artistic Trogir & Plitvice Lakes
Depart to Trogir where scholars from around the world gather to study and paint. Continue inland heading for the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park. Enjoy wonderful scenery of these terraced lakes, surrounded by wooded mountains, as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes.

Day 7 : Opatija & the largest cave in Europe, Postojna
Return to the coast and travel along the beautiful bay of Kvarner to Opatija. After some free time, head north to Postojna Cave and by miniature electric train tour this magical subterranean world, one of the largest in Europe. Continue to Bled, set in the Julian Alps.

Day 8 : Bled Castle, high above the lake
Your tour of Bled features the charming town and the lakeshore, plus a visit to the imposing Bled Castle, perched high above the lake. Remainder of the day is at leisure to stroll along the lake, sit back in a cafe and taste Bled cream cake, explore more on your own or perhaps join an optional excursion visiting the small island in the middle of the lake.

Day 9 : Walking tour of Ljubljana
On arrival to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, enjoy a walking tour to see the sights of the old city center, including the open-air Central Market, Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall and Robba’s Fountain. Then depart on the drive to Zagreb.

Day 10 : Historical Zagreb
A morning excursion features the historic Upper Town, St Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and the Government Palace. Balance of the day is free to explore the winding streets of the Old Town, relax in a café or take an optional excursion to see the countryside.

Day 11 : Depart from Zagreb
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Zagreb Airport for your flight departure
