01 - Arrival to Istanbul

Arrival
to Istanbul Airport and meet for transfer to your hotel. Restof
day at leisure as per arrival time.

DAY
02 - Istanbul Sightseeing Tour
|
After
breakfast at the hotel meet with guide to depart on a full day
tour to explore some of the most
important sights in Istanbul. Visit the Blue Mosque, St Sophia,
Hippodrome & Obelisk, Grand Bazaar and
Topkapi Palace (excluding extra entrancees to Harem & Treasury
rooms). Evening then at leisure.

DAY
03 - Gallipoli Battlefields & Memorials
|
Breakfast,
check out and meet for the early morning drive on to Eceabat.
On arrival break for lunch
before starting the Gallipoli Battlefields and Memorials Tour.
The guide will take you to see Kabatepe Museum, ANZAC Cove,
Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston's Jolly (Turkish &
Allied trenches and
tunnels), The Nek and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. After
sightseeing cross by car ferry for the
drive on to Canakkale and check-in to hotel. The evening is
at leisure or for those that wish there is
a screening of the 4 Corners Documentary ‘Fatal Shore’
and the "Gallipoli" movie starring Mel Gibson.

DAY
04 - Troy Sightseeing
|
Breakfast,
check out then depart on the mornings excursion to visit the
famous archaeological and
mythological city of Troy, home of the "Trojan Horse"
& "Helen
of Troy". Return to Canakkale by
noon
with the remainder of the day at leisure until departure on
drive back to Kusadasi, late evening arrival.

DAY
05 - Ephesus Sightseeing
|
Today
sightseeing tour will take you to visit the remains of Artemis
Temple, one of the 7 Wonders of
the Ancient World. Then on to visit Ephesus Ancient City, the
best preserved Greco-Roman city in
the world. After a lunch break depart for the House of Virgin
Mary and visit the chapel where she is
said to have spent her last days. Return to hotel with evening
at leisure.

DAY
06 - Pamukkale Sightseeing
|
After
breakfast at the hotel and check out you will be met by the
guide to depart for Pamukkale where
you will have the chance to visit the natural travertens formed
by lime deposits along with the ruins of
Hierapolis. Pamukkale literally translated means "Cotton
Castle". At the end of the tour day you will be
transferred on to the bus station in Pamukkale for departure
by overnight intercity bus to Cappadocia

DAY
07 - Cappadocia Sightseeing
|
Meet
at the bus station on your arrival and transfer to the hotel
for a short rest. Then depart on the
full days tour to visit Devrent Valley and Monk's valley (Pasabagi)
where you will find the world famous
fairy chimneys. Break for lunch in Avanos then on toGoreme Open-Air
Museum to explore the numerous
churches and monasteries with their frescoes. These churches
& monasteries where carved from the
soft volcanic stone and decorated by Medieval Orthodox Christian
Monks around 1000-1200AD. A visit
to Ortahisar Natural Rock Castle for panoramic views. After
tour the evening is at leisure.

DAY
08 - Cappadocia Sightseeing
|
Breakfast
at hotel, check out then depart on another full day tour this
time
starting with a visit to the
famous Derinkuyu Underground City which was built as a defence
and hiding site during the period of
spreading Christianity. Then on to Cavusin Old Christian Village
where you will find a triple Apse church
and the monastery of St John the Baptist. In Sinasos Old Greek
Village you will find old Greek and
Ottoman houses. The days touring includes an easy grade 3km
hike through Red Valley offering some
great scenery that would otherwise not be accessible by car
and a visit to Uchisar Natural Rock Castle.
At end of the tour, collect luggage from hotel reception and
transfer on to the bus station for travel by
overnight intercity bus to Istanbul (NOTE: Direct flights are
also available if you prefer.)

09 - Istanbul at leisure
|
If
by overnight bus, arrival in the early morning and meet for
transfer to the hotel. Today is free at
leisure for you to either relax or do some further sightseeing
on your own.

at hotel, check out and as per your flight departure time, transfer
on to Istanbul Airport |
